SRINAGAR, MARCH 16- To acquaint teachers with innovative methods and learning skills, a training programme was held at College of Education here.
The programme was organized by Tony Blair Faith Foundation (TBFF) under its Generation Global (Gen-G) programme, during which 40 teachers were imparted training curriculum via participatory and hands-on activities.
Dr Ian Jamison, Head of Education (TBFF) and TBFF Education Consultant Asia, Sandhya Gupta imparted training to teachers with focus on pedagogy and teaching techniques.
Giving brief about programme activities, TBFF team said Generation Global cultivates students’ skills of dialogue, critical thinking, as well as cultural and digital literacies. “Students are then able to practice these skills, directly encountering their global peers through facilitated videoconferences and a moderated online community,” they added.
At the end of programme certificates were distributed among participants by the Director School Education Kashmir, Kumar Rajiv Ranjan.
