Budgam, March 31: Anjuman Shari Shain president and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi Friday condemned the arrest spree at and warned that it could have far reaching consequences.

Addressing Friday congregational prayers at Imam Bara Budgam, Aga Hasan said that

crackdown against the youth is a dangerous move and it can further disturb the situation and make it more worse.

He demanded release of all the political prisoners and youth languishing in Jails and police stations. “Harassment of the common people after the Chadoora incident has no legal or moral justification. Targeting innocent and unarmed citizens after any gunfight or conflict amounts to the war crimes and it is also a grave human rights violation. The government has started a massive crackdown against the youth not only in Pulwama but all over the Valley and hundreds of them have been imprisoned in different police stations,” he said.

Aga Syed Hasan said that solution to Kashmir problem lies in UN resolutions while illegally caging, confining and censoring the leadership is the standard response of the infamous regime as well as its predecessors to prevent them from leading the people and letting the truth of Kashmir be known,” he said.CNS
