Bandipora,  24.  March:  Kiatsan, Bandipora.  Amongst the Valley suffering from unemployment, Army Camp at Paribal (under the aegis of Wular Garrison), organised Vocational Training for TV Repairing and Motor Winding (under Sadhbhavana) to promote skill development and  generate employment opportunities for local youth. The seven weeks of  Vocational Training was conducted from 07 Feb till 25 March and nineteen students attended the same.


To foster employment opportunities, a dedicated teacher Mr Irshad Ahmad (resident of Kiatsan) was employed by Army who has trained the students to be  proficient enough to repair new generation LED TVs and   various types of motors. The Army is also helping them to find suitable jobs.

Locals appreciated the efforts of Army for organising such  training for youth and agreed that “Employability is the key to Happiness and restoring normalcy in Valley”.
