Babri Masjid-Ram Temple issue: ‘Out of court settlement impossible: Jammu Muslim Front

Jammu, March 22: Conglomerate of Jammu based Muslim organizations, Jammu Muslim Front Wednesday said that ‘out of court settlement’ with regard to Babri Masjid-Ram Temple dispute is impossible and a vague idea that has come from the Supreme Court of India.

The apex court on Tuesday had said the Babri Masjid dispute is a sensitive and sentimental issue, adding its best that this matter was settled amicably.

General Secretary Jammu Muslim Front, Shujah Zaffar told CNS that the court only wasted the precious time and now has come up with a suggestion that in no way is in the interest of Muslim community. “Out of court settlement is not possible. This is a sensitive issue and only Chief Justice of the Supreme Court can resolve it,” he said.

Shujah Zaffar the past experience shows that this sensitive matter can’t be resolved outside the court. “Muslims should not accept out of court settlement. Apex Court must award the verdict and should not rely on the settlement of the issue outside the court,” he said. (CNS)
