Commitment of people with martyrs mission ‘inevitable’ for success of freedom struggle: Hurriyat (M) 

Srinagar, Mar 30: Terming the complete resolve and commitment of the people with the mission of martyrs as inevitable for the success of freedom struggle, the APHC said that the tragic incident in Chadoora has once again brought forth the anti-Kashmir stance of the Indian state and its local collaborators in Kashmir who do not even desist from murdering Kashmiris to consolidate the occupation in Kashmir.

On the instruction of APHC Chairman Mirwaiz,Umar Farooq who continues to be under house detention from past four weeks thereby restricting  his movement,a hurryat delegation comprising of leaders including Advocate Sheikh Yasir Dalal,, Peer Ghulam Nabi, Advocate Surat Shakeel, Mohammad Sidiq, visited the house of three martyred civilians, Zahid ganaie, Amir Fayaz and Ishfaq Ahmad wani- who were killed in cold blood by the police and Indian forces .

The delegates expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families. On the occasion, Mirwaiz spoke to members of the bereaved families on telephone and expressed his deep grief over the killing of the young boys and his regret that he could not personally visit them to share their grief. Consoling the family members, Mirwaiz said that entire leadership and the Kashmiri nation is deeply pained and stands with them in their grief and mourns with them and acknowledges the great sacrifice of these budding young boys whose life was snuffed out by the guns of our oppressor.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat spokesman condemned the house arrest of APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Syed  Ali Geelani and shifting of JKLF Chairman Yaseen to central Jail Srinagar. The spokesman also condemned the continue arrest of Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Farooq Ahmad Saudagar, and Abdul Rashid Tanki and house arrest of advocate Shahid ul Islam .The spokesman also denounced the policy of continuing to arrest hundreds of boys from across the valley by police in nocturnal raids and during search operations. The spokesman reiterated that these measures will neither deter the leadership nor the people from pursuing their struggle for achieving their political aspirations nor will they be able to improve the situation.

The spokesman paid rich tributes to the martyrs of the nation namely Ashfaq Ahmad Wani, Shabir Ahmad Siddiqui, Advocate Jaleel Andrabi, and Abdul Ahad Guru on their martyrdom anniversaries. He said that their sacrifices would always be remembered by the Kashmiri nation, adding, they sacrificed their today for the better tomorrow of people of Kashmir. As such, it is the duty of people to show complete commitment and resolve towards the freedom struggle to take the mission of the martyrs to realization.
