Crime Branch registers case against Government employees for duping job aspirants

Srinagar, March 22: Crime Branch has registered a case against Aftab Alam Bhat of Shivpora Srinagar, Jr.Assistant Forest Department Agrostology Circle J&K, Ghulam Mohammad Khan of Botshah Mohalla Lal Bazar, Agriculture retired Incharge Range officer Forest Deptt, Arshid Hussain Mir of Kralyar Rainawari Srinagar and Mohammad Maqbool Mir of Dhobi Mohalla Batmaloo Srinagar, Sr.Assistant Forest Research Division Srinagar under offences 420, 468, 471, 120-B RPC  for having dishonestly and fraudulently deceived a good number of unemployed youth under the pretext of providing government jobs to them and after inducing the victims  to deliver hefty amounts, have prepared a fictitious list of 102 daily rated workers and subsequently managed its submission before the Administrative Department of Forest for regularization.

     Crime Branch Kashmir produced charge sheet of the case against the accused persons before the Hon’ble Court of Law at Srinagar where their bail applications have been rejected and the accused sent for judicial determination to Central Srinagar. (CNS)
