Srinagar, March 30: Well-known trader union leader Farooq Ahmed Trali, who got superannuated this month, was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell at a function held here in Kashmir capital Srinagar on Thursday.
Director Agriculture Showkat Ali Beigh, Director SKIMS Dr A.G. Ahangar, DIG Central Kashmir Ghulam Hasan Bhat and SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail Parray and various other officers bid him farewell by presenting bouquets and all wished Farooq Trali a very happy, healthy and prosperous life after retirement.
The impressive and well attended function according to CNS was organized by J&K Agriculture Employees Association. Speaking on the occasion, the speakers threw light on the life and contribution of Farooq Trali as trade leader. They praised the professionalism and qualities of Trali and said that he has earned name and fame by dint of their diligence, commitment and exemplary devotion. They said that Trali always worked hard for the cause of the government employees and through his service career had performed his allotted duties with dedication and brought kudos for the department. They prayed for their peaceful future.
Trali worked under different capacities in the Agriculture Department and he performed his duties also as the State General Secretary J&K Employees Joint Action Committee and State President J&K Agriculture Employees Association. (CNS)
