Residents appeal district admin to take immediate measures

Srinagar, Mar 21: The Wadwan Tehsil of district Kishtwar continued to remain cut off from rest parts of the state from past three months as the roads in the area are still covered under snow blanket.
According to KNS correspondent, Muhammad Abbas, the residents said that following the snowfall on January 01 of this year, the Tehsil Wadwan remains cut off from rest parts of the state while the authorities are acting as mute spectator with taking no measures to clear the snow on the roads.
The residents said that the government offices in the Tehsil are also remained closed since Jan 01. “We are facing immense hardships as the officials in the government departments also remain absent from their duties due to the no connectivity in the area. There is no one to hear our plights,” the residents said.
They alleged that the government has failed to take any measures in this regard thereby leaving the local populace to lurch at large.
The residents later appealed the district administration to take immediate measures so that the people here could feel a sigh of relief. (KNS)
