Srinagar, Mar 18: In a bid to ensure smooth functioning of health institutions across Kashmir Division and in particular the far flung hospitals, the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) has intensified the monitoring and supervisory visits of senior officers from the Directorate to these hospitals.
In this context, a team comprising of Assistant Director & Divisional Nutritional Officer from the Directorate visited District Bandipora on 18th March 2017 wherein they conducted an extensive health care inspection in the hopitals.The team while taking stock of various healthcare related issues also interacted with patients,attendants and medical staff for their feedback and suggestions.
Furthermore, onspot action was taken against those erring employees who were defying proper dress code and 13 health personnel were fined. Strict directions were also given to Health Aadministratirs to ensure proper adherence andtimely delivery of health care services to the patients.
The Director Health Services, Kashmir asserted that this is a regular exercise and has been recently intensified wherein such inspections have been carried out during late night hours also so as to ensure availability of staff and healthcare services to patients round the clock for which a team of senior adminstrative officers has been constituted.
