JD (inputs) Agri Kashmir seeks bills before 18, rules set aside

Director Agri (K) silent, FC (APD) not available for comment


Srinagar, Mar 20: Joint Director Agriculture (inputs) Kashmir has surprisingly in an office order issued under number JDAI/Dev/2016-17/4000-06 dated 15-03-2017 has asked all the concerned officials/officers to submit bills latest by Mar 18 2017, failing which no bill will be entertained.

The order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) is in contravention to the government directions calling upon the concerned officers and officials to submit their bills any time before 31st March.
The incumbent joint Director (inputs) Kashmir retiring on 31st March has issued the order only to harass the concerned suppliers in an above to attempt to get pecuniary benefits ahead of this retirement.
While Director Agriculture Kashmir, Showkat Ahmad Beigh has already received a copy of the order but he is silent over the issue in an attempt to shield the retiring officer.
Though KNS office repeatedly called up Financial Commissioner Agriculture Production Department, Pramod Jain but he wasn’t available for the comments. (KNS)
