Jammu March 24: More than 5000 activists of National Panthers Party who gathered yesterday at Dogra Hall, Jammu beside State Secretariat passed three Resolutions on the occasion of 35th Foundation Anniversary of JKNPP.
Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party moved a Resolution to urging on the Members of the United Nations to upgrade India’s status as Permanent Member of the United Nations which is the largest democracy in the world with second position as per population is concern. The Resolution was moved by Prof.Bhim Singh urging on all the Members of the United Nations and particularly Permanent Members to upgrade India’s status as Permanent Member of the UN in the interest of international peace, security and destruction of all nuclear arsenals and weapons in the world.
The Panthers Party Resolutions congratulated Prof.Bhim Singh for taking out a peace mission around the world on the motorcycle. Prof.Bhim Singh had interacted with several peace-mongers and the Arab leaders like Saddam Hussain, Yasir Arafat, Col. Gadafi. Prof.Bhim Singh had generated goodwill for international peace and security. It was on Bhim Singh initiatives that Panthers Party was founded in 1982 in J&K to continue the battle for the protection of Human Rights, complete disarmament and world peace. It was Bhim Singh who conveyed the message to the world that Panthers Party which was founded in J&K and now has spread its wings in almost every corner of India uniting youth, students and workers for generating world peace and fighting against violence, hatred and communalism.
The Resolution was strongly supported by Panthers Party Chairman, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh, its President, Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia, its General Secretary, Ms. Anita Thakur, Vice President, Mr. Masood Andrabi and others.
The Panthers Party also passed a strong Resolution urging on the Parliament of India to reorganize the State of J&K by creating a Federal System; a State of Jammu Pradesh and a State of Kashmir Ghati giving an open option to the Ladakh region to choose between either of the States or a status of Union Territory in J&K. The Panthers Party also demanded that the residents of J&K residing in Pak-occupied territories or under the control of China in the North-East or in Karakoram Highway belt (4800 miles) which was donated by Pakistan to China in 1963 when Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was the Prime Minister of Pakistan should be given an opportunity to decide their future whether they want to go with Pakistan, China or India from all those occupied territories which have remained in control under the illegal occupation of Pakistan and China since 1948 or 1963 or otherwise.
Panthers Party declared that it shall launch a movement from Kashmir to Kanyakumari for the reorganization of the State of J&K so that a confederation of Jammu State and Kashmir Ghati State is established by the Parliament. Panthers Party also demanded the provision of all Fundamental Rights provided in Chapter-III in the Constitution of India to all the residents of J&K forthwith. Prof.Bhim Singh threatened that he shall move the International Court of Justice (ICJ) if the people of J&K are denied Fundamental Rights in J&K.
