PCPG meet held at Handwara

DIG North addresses gathering

Handwara, Mar 18: Continuing its efforts to strengthen the police public relations, today Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was organized at Handwara area of North Kashmir.
According to KNS Correspondent, the meeting was chaired by DIG North Kashmir Natish Kumar. Main focus remained on drug addiction and moral degradation of society. 
The respectable citizens of Handwara town and its adjacent areas including civil society members, members of trade union and members of Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) participated in this meeting.
During the meeting various social issues were raise by the participants. They assured their full co-operation and support to police in curbing the said menace.
The DIG Baramulla Nitish Kumar assured the participants that their highlighted grievances will be taken with concerned authorities for redressal. They also sought public support in confronting the criminal activities for peaceful and crime free society.
SSP Handwara Gh Jeelani Wani and SDPO Shabir Khan were also present on this occasion. (KNS)
