Addresses series of election meetings
Pahalgam, Mar 23: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) General Secretary and Vice Chairman JK Tourism Development Corporation Rafi Ahmad Mir today reiterated the commitment of his party to work for the welfare of masses.
Addressing series of public and workers’ meetings to garner support for party candidate Tasaduq Mufti here, Mir lauded efforts of the party cadres for their commitment towards the PDP adding that the party is committed to the expectations of people in general.
“Our cadre has reposed faith in leadership of the party and our worker is the backbone of the party who have been playing a crucial role not only to strengthen the PDP but making every effort to orient the public opinion on the possible roadmap which could address the aspirations of people of the State,” said Mir in a statement to KNS.
“Government led by the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti is working on a series of reformative measures which will change the entire governance discourse in the state. The administration is being made accountable and transparency is ensured at every level,” he added.
Hailing the significant welfare initiatives of PDP-led government, Mir appealed the public “to become part of peace and developmental process initiated by the CM.”
“PDP is committed to the welfare of the people of the state and the ranks of party were working tirelessly to implement its welfare agenda. Party workers should gear up for new challenges on the ground,” he said.
Mir asked the party cadres to reach out to the voters in order to ensure success of party candidate in the ensuing elections with a big margin. “We have to work together and strengthen party by ensuring the success of our candidates”, he said. (KNS)
