Srinagar 29 March: Police foiled today AIP’s proposed Garao March to CM residence at Gupkar Protestors who tried to assemble, were dispersed by police and were not allowed to assemble near Gupkar. However breaking strict police restrictions Dozens of protestors lead by AIP Supremo and MLA Langate, Er. Rasheed started March from party office Jawahar Nagar towards Gupkar. Protestors carrying play cards in their hands, were chanting slogans against state terrorism and killing of three innocents at Chadoora.  After travelling some distance, heavy contingent of police led by SP South stopped the protestors. Rasheed, party spokesman Inam-un-Nabi, District President Kulgam Dr. Bari Nayak and  activist Syed Aijaz Kashani were arrested and detained in police station Rajbagh. Talking to media persons before being arrested Er. Rasheed accused New Delhi of giving a free hand to security forces to kill Kashmiris and treating every Kashmiri as its enemy. He said “Sense of accountability is now a distant dream within security forces and civil administration has become a rubber stamp for security forces. Fed up with the destiny of so called enquiry commissions now nobody even seeks a probe and even condoling deaths has turned irrelevant. The claims of Indian Army and JK Police being disciplined forces have become like a joke and both police an army have lost the moral battle to those whom they call outlaws and terrorists”. He added that sooner or later international community will realize how dark is, the exposed brutal face of India’s non-violence in Kashmir.
