Police recovered stolen Tata sumo,  accused arrested 

Anantnag: March,15:   Police Party ,headed by incharge police post general bus stand   Anantnag ,Sub Inspector shri  Gowher Malla laid routine wise naka at   Mati Chek Anchidora and  intercepted one  Tata Sumo ,driven by Shamim Ahmed Wani son of Ghulam Nabi Wani resident of Mati chek Anchidora Anantnag.
 During chacking ,The said vehicle seems to be in a bad  condition and was without registration number
On investigation , Neither the said driver was able to produce documents nor he was able to disclose its registration number.

 after investigation, police came to know that Recently a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK14/ 5570 owned by Abdul Rashid Bhat son of Ali Mohammed Bhat resident of  Dangerpora Anantnag at presently residing at Qazi Bagh Anantnag was stolen on 23 December 2016 from Qazi Bagh Anantnag and its report was already  entered in police post General bus stand Anantnag . 

On enquiry the driver admitted that he had stolen the vehicle from Qazi Bagh Anantnag on 23/12/2016.  In the regard, aCase FIR NO. 32/2017 under section  379 RPc   registered and further  investigation taken up.
