Srinagar, March 24 : The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Inc) has hailed the implementation of long pending decision of the government regarding relocating the Sheep Farm from Dachigam National Park which the Chamber has been craving and pleading for a long time.
While appreciating its decision the Chamber urge the government to take further such steps that would ensure saving the forest wealth at tourist destinations from vandalization. The Forest wealth is considered to be the prime attraction for the tourist and thus most important for the growth of tourism industry in the state.
The Chamber has expressed concern that tampering with the forest reserves and wildlife in anyway shall affect the Flora, Fauna, ecology resulting in decline in the Tourism in the state. The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Inc) also lauds the efforts of various organisations fighting for the protection of ecology and preservation of environment.
