Bandipora April 01: As the by election for Srinagar- Budgam Lok Sabha seat comes closer, people of Bandipora constituency today expressed strong resentment over the ignoring of Bandipora constituency for not giving MLC berth to PDP Leader Nizamuddin Bhat.

People frm bandipora demanding that senior party leader and Former MLA bandipora Nizamuddin bhat to be inducted to the upper house of state legislature.” We were promised by PDP high command many a times that Bhat would be inducted as an MLC as he has got over 23000 votes in assembly elections said a group of workers.

Now few seats of MLCs are falling vacant and it is the time for party to fulfill its promise” said a Close Aide of Nizamuddin bhat.

Another Group of Workers said that nowadays giving opportunity to newcomers for prime posts but ignored those who were working with the party from long back.

He claimed that from the day of formation of government by PDP Bandipora leadership is being ignored and if PDP high command gave MLC berth to Bandipira it will boost morale of Bandipora people. Workers asked to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and give MLC berth to Bandipora.
