Srinagar. April 04: Veteran Gujjar leader, Gujjar Bakerwal Conference General Secretry Yaseen Poswal and three other people joined People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at PDP office Shere Kashmir park.
Party General Secretary Adv Nizamuddin bhat in a function welcomed Chowdary Yaseen Paswal into the party fold.
A Contractor and a social worker, poswal has been also active in the Activism since long time.
Speaking on the occasion, Poswal While talking with media Persons said that the unfortunate policy of the National Conference created a gulf of hatred between Paharis and Gujjars for their political ends.
Meanwhile Chowdary Yaseen Poswal also discussed the problems of Gujjar and Bakerwals and said that the National Conference always exploited this community and nothing has been done for their development.
Paswal said while adressing that my community has two big prevailling issues one is Forest Right act or Tribal act or Forest Dweller act 2006, which has been implemented in all States of India except J&K, ten years have been passed but still proples of J&k waiting for the enactment of said Act in J&k and an other issue of Restoration of Reservation in Promotion i hope that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti will come up about the redressal of issues with immediate effect after election as she assured me during negotiation before Joining Party.
Chowdary Ghulam Hassan who contested last election as an independent candidate from noorabad constituency, Chowdary Mohd Abdullah Former District officer Industrial Department also joined Party on this Occasion.
