Delhi Police under Modi Govt. invaded NPP Office in exile at Jantar Mantar, bulldozed its existence

New Delhi, April. 20:           Delhi Police operating under the guidance and direction of  Modi Govt. invaded political office of Prof.Bhim Singh (Panthers Party) which has been operating for the past 15 months when Bhim Singh’s office shut from Vithalbhai Patel House by the direction of Modi Govt. There are several political offices operating in Jantar Mantar and Panthers Party office was operating with tri-colour flag hoisting on the top of it with bold banners, ‘India means peace—J&K is integral part of Union of India’. The Modi Govt. has tried to demolish the office and its canvassing several times. The entire office record, Supreme Court case diaries, record of the Supreme Court petitions undertaken by the Panthers Party were all kept intact at the headquarters of Panthers Party at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

The office was decorated with the photos of national martyrs like Sr. Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chander Bose, Lal Lajpat Rai, Asfaqullah Khan, Rani Jhansi, Khudi Ram Bose and several others martyrs who sacrified their lives in the freedom struggle against the British Empire. Everything was demolished by Delhi Police without any legal warrant or law in the absence of NPP Supremo, Prof.Bhim Singh who was in the Supreme Court only 2½ kms. away from Jantar Mantar. He got the information only when the police arrested Shri Alamdar Abbas, Secretary, Public Relations-DPNPP and a J&K National Panthers Party Secretary, Mr. Rakesh Gupta in the office when they were operating in the office. According to the report the police smashed the tables, windows, almirahas and removed Panthers Party flags, literatures and the court’s books and files of Prof.Bhim Singh. It appeared as British Police was attacking Jallianwala on 13th April, 1919 or it reminded that Delhi Police was taking Panthers Party headquarters as Turkman Gate in Emergency.

Prof.Bhim Singh was got information at about 5.00 p.m. and he is rushing to the spot.

Prof.Bhim Singh who is trying to reach the spot to take appropriate legal and political action against the Modi Govt. has expressed deep shock on the most shameful act of Modi Govt. He said that the Govt. should have been informed the Delhi Pradesh Panthers Party a day in advance so that important files, party literature and all other valuables could be removed to a safe place.  Prof.Bhim Singh is rushing to Jantar Mantar and shall give his reaction after reaching the spot.

Bhim Singh’s report from Jantar Mantar

“Entire Panthers Party office has been demolished and every piece of the office, its nearly 100 chairs, 10 tables, cup-boards, bed-cousins and every straw of the office has been completely washed out and removed from the place. This is worst than Turkman Gate or even Jallianwala. I find it most disgusting, condemnable and a challenge to the human rights and dignity by the Modi Govt. that could have taken place in the heart of India’s capital city, New Delhi. What is to be done next, shall be decided.”
