Eidgah localities inundated with rainwater
Residents demand dewatering

Srinagar, April 8: The residents in several localities in Srinagar’s Eidgah locality are demanding dewatering after rain water inundated these localities.
The residents of Pamposh Colony, Palpora and Sangam told KNS that from the last four days their localities remain inundated with water and the administration has failed to dewater their areas.
They said flood-like situation has arisen in their colonies and demanded immediate dewatering of the areas.
The residents said that they have appealed to the MLA concerned, NC’s Mubarak Gul, but he has not helped them yet.
Congress leader from the Eidgah assembly segment Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan told KNS that the residents are living in miserable situation after the rainfall inundated their homes.
Khan while censuring the MLA concerned, appealed the Srinagar administration, SMC and UEED to immediately dewater the areas. (KNS)
