Srinagar, Apr 26: Terming the harassment of students and Rohangiyas as “Muslim enmity”, United Jihad Council (UJC) Wednesday appealed the International Human Rights Organizations to take notice of such “atrocities”.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the spokesman of UJC, Syed Sadaqat Hussain while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying: “The attacks on Muslims over cow slaughtering, atrocities committed on students and setting the tents of Rohangiya Muslims on fire is an open Muslim enmity by the RSS and Modi-led government, which are highly condemnable.”
He said that the “fascist powers” should understand that the “anti-Muslim” activities can divide the whole India on communal lines.
According to the statement, Salah-ud-din while addressing the high level meeting of UJC, said, “The International Human Rights Organizations, OIC and other Human rights bodies in India must take notice on the violation of human rights and the atrocities being committed on the minorities particularly Muslims in India.”
“In case these organizations fail to take notice of the atrocities and the violation of human rights then the youth will be forced to fight on their own.”
While condemning the use of force against the students in Kashmir, the UJC chief paid tributes to the slain militants who were killed by forces Chadoora area of Budgam district on April 22. (KNS)
