Let police learn lessons from assault on SSP Kupwara by Army……. Er. Rasheed

Kupwara 28 April: Police and CRPF foiled today AIP’s march against brutal killing of a civilian at Panzgam by Army after the encounter. Despite strict restrictions, hundreds of protestors led by Er. Rasheed started march from Deputy Commissioner Kupwara’s Office and started chanting anti-army slogans and arrest of the army major responsible for killing of Mohammad Yousuf.

However a heavy contingent of Police and CRPF stopped the protestors near main market Kupwara. Police used force to foil the march and arrested Er. Rasheed along with few protestors and lodged them in Police Station Kupwara. Speaking to media persons before his arrest Er. Rasheed said that Army is after blood of Kashmiris as National Media, police makers in New Delhi and other agencies have no other task than provoking army and other agencies to kill Kashmiris. Er. Rasheed said “In broad day light and in presence of police and media persons an Army major ordered to fire bullet on head to the deceased Mohammad Yousuf and then shamelessly army Jawans celebrated his murder. Police could do nothing to save a precious life and the army infact abused shamelessly even the senior superintendent of police present there”. Er. Rasheed said that while common masses are now used to face all the hell at the hands of security forces, Police force should know it’s worth, as the treatment given to SSP Kupwara at the hands of outlaws of army should act as an eye opener for every local policeman and they need to realise that even they call billion times a day themselves as Indians, India doesn’t trust them only for being Kashmiris.

Er. Rasheed said that just lodging an FIR doesn’t carry any meaning, unless the culprits in uniform involved in cold blood murder are not arrested and put behind bars.
