JKASOA holds emergency meet
Urges Govt to fulfill its promises

Srinagar, Apr 04: In order to discuss important issues concerning the KAS fraternity, the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services Officers Association (JKASOA) on Tuesday held an emergency meeting.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Association, G.M. Dar, Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara.
The Association according to the statement issued to KNS expressed its concern regarding posting of non-cadre officers against the posts identified for the KAS officers and also posting of very junior officers against the senior KAS posts.
“Most of the members termed this as deliberate attempt to demean and demoralise the Jammu and Kashmir administrative service officers,” the statement reads.
The statement adds that it was recalled that the government had earlier assured the association to withdraw such arrangements but no concrete steps have been taken till date.
The association urged Government to withdraw such arrangements. (KNS)
