Sajad Hussain Sheikh’s cold blooded murder at Batamaloo by trigger happy Indians is a demonstration of state sponsored terrorism. This was stated by the chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family of martyr Sajad Hussain Sheikh who was gunned down by Indian bullets at Batamaloo on 15thApril 2017. Earlier JKLF chairman avoiding heavy restrictions travelled to Batamaloo on foot and reached the residence of Martyr Sajad. He met with the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them. Speaking on the occasion, JKLF chairman said that Indian rulers, their Kashmiri stooges and trigger happy forces and police kill our kith and kin with impunity and then even mourning and congregational prayers are disallowed and banned. He said that Innocent teenager Sajad was killed without any provocation in cold blood and today his parents and other people were not allowed to hold congregational prayers at his graveyard. He said that banning mourning and sacred rituals amounts to interference in religious affairs but hoping for any good from those so-called rulers who have shun every little shame for their lust of power and who have no honor for human lives is like living in fool’s paradise. He said that ban on raising voices, ban on peaceful political gatherings, Ban on travelling, ban on holding debates and arguments and even banning internet facilities has become a trade mark of so-called Indian democracy and its stooges in Kashmir and yesterdays inhuman attacks by police and forces on protesting students has added a new chapter to this aggression and oppression in Kashmir. While expressing solidarity with the bereaved family of Martyr Sajad Hussain Sheikh, JKLF chairman said that scarifies of these budding flowers will never go in vain and the resistance against illegal occupation will continue till the achievement of the desired goal of freedom. After visiting Batamaloo, JKLF chairman along with others visited SMHS hospital and enquired about the well-being of students who were injured by police and CRPF yesterday. Yasin Sahib also met with the critically injured girl Iqra Sideeq who was hit on her head by CRPF terrorists who dropped a stone straight on his head from above at Sakidafer Srinagar and narrowly survived from the brutal assault of terrorists in uniform. Yasin Malik met with the doctors and her attendants and took details of her injury and treatment. While condemning the onslaught of police and other forces on students, JKLF chairman said that shameless police and their political masters should feel some embarrassment on the horrific scenes of shelling and firing inside female institutions of which many images have been published in today’s newspapers. While praying for the speedy recovery of all brave students who sustained injuries during yesterday’s peaceful protests, JKLF chairman paid respect to their valor and resilience. JKLF chairman also condemned the arrest of JKLF senior member Nazir Ahmad Rather of Malashahi-Bagh Srinagar who has been arrested by police yesterday.
