Budgam, April 21: “India is at war with the people of Kashmir. BJP’s Minister Chander Prakash Ganga’s remarks are outrageous which point towards the communal policy pursued by RSS in Kashmir to suppress the innocent freedom loving people of Valley,” this was stated by senior separatist leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian, Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi while addressing people at Friday congregational prayers at Imambara Budgam.

He said Kashmir has been turned into a garrison and people are being terrorized using pellets and bullets. “Ganga’s remarks are aimed at to encourage Indian Forces to go for unabated killing. Youth of Kashmir are not fond of stone-pelting but they are hapless and stone is the only means for them to react to the Indian brutality,” he said.

Aga Hasan said if BJP Minister would have been sincere and really wanted peace to prevail in Kashmir, then he should not have come up with outrageous anti-Kashmir remarks. “India is shrinking the political space and has been stopping people to stage peaceful protests. India is resorting to torture and genocide in Kashmir. In civilized nation, assault on students is unacceptable and unimaginable,” he said. (CNS)
