Srinagar, April 27: Mahmood Shah, Chief Lashkar-e-Taiba, has strongly condemned the arrest of chairperson Dukhtaran-e-Millat Aasiyah Andrabi along with her secretary Sofi Fahmeeda. In a statement to news agency CNS he said, ‘India has once again belittled itself for violating the honour of Kashmiri women by arresting them for the crime of struggling for their rights.’
Mahmood Shah while coming down heavily on some police officers said that the fate of traitors has always been proven as worse and seeking shelter from an army which itself has lost both the war of narratives and that of battlefield is futile. ‘Beware that Kashmiris are blessed with dignity and they won’t forget what they have gone through. They will soon get their revenge,’ the Chief said in the statement.
Mahmood Shah condemned the use of force on innocent Kashmiri students by some college authorities and said that it is upto us to save the honor of the daughters of Kashmir. ‘Just as you know that these students respect you for your status, i.e a teacher, but your acts have been shameful. Fear the day these students revolt against you. It is so you know that every thorn in the way of Freedom shall be crushed’, the statement from the LeT chief said.(CNS)
