Anti-polythene campaign held at Shopian

SHOPIAN, MAY 16: A day-long campaign against the use of polythene was organized by District Panchayat Officer Shopian at Keegam today.
The drive was conducted in the backdrop of the directions passed by Minister for Rural Development Department (RDD) and Panchayat Raj Abdul Haq for Polythene-free village campaign.
The anti-polythene campaign was kick started by Deputy Commissioner Shopian Manzoor Ahmad Qadri in presence of Director Rural Sanitation J&K.
The anti-polythene drive was launched by RDD on May 11 and will culminate on May 17.
