Broadband service rendered defunct in Humhama, Friends Enclave areas
BSNL clueless as subscribes fume in posh areas

Srinagar, May 04: After the restoration of mobile internet service the BSNL authorities have rendered broadband service in Humhama areas in areas lying on left and right side of the Srinagar Airport right from Humhama Railway Bridge upto Friends Enclaves, a residential hub of top serving and retired bureaucrats, former ministers and sitting legislators.
Several serving bureaucrats and sitting legislators called up KNS news room and alleged that from the day mobile service has been restored the BSNL authorities are repeatedly disconnecting broad band service which has put people in the entire Humhama area to lot of inconveniences. They claimed to have brought the issue to the notice of higher authorities of BSNL Kashmir but despite assurances the broadband service is disconnected more than a dozen times every day.
KNS office though repeatedly called up the mobile and landline nos of higher authorities of BSNL Kashmir circle but none of the authorities bothered to respond to repeated calls from the KNS office. (KNS)
