Srinagar, May 02: The class work in the SP higher secondary school will continue to remain suspended on Wednesday, the district administration Srinagar said on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Lone told KNS that the teaching work will continue to remain suspended in SP higher secondary on Wednesday.
Earlier, the administration had said that the class work for the students of 9th and 10th will resume from Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the class work in MP higher secondary for class 9th and 10th resumed today.
However, the teaching work in the higher secondary remained suspended.
The class work in the two higher secondary schools was suspended by the authorities following the protests in the city’s commercial hub, Lal Chowk, here on Monday (Apr 24).
The protests in the educational institutes continued since Apr 17 against the alleged thrashing of students in Government degree College Pulwama on Apr 15. (KNS)
