Congress leaders visits Eidgah
‘People complain about basic amenities’

Srinagar, May 15: Congress leaders Sunday visited Eidgah assembly segment to hear the grievances of the people and assured the residents to take their grievances to the concerned official to redress them.
Imtiyaz Khan Party Congress leader from Eidgah, accompanied by former minister Khem Lata Wakhloo visited several areas including Guzarbal, Pallapora and other localities.
Khan said the meeting was held to know the problems of the area people are facing.
“The people of that area apprized us about the developmental problems and lack of basic amenities including scarcity of electricity, drinking water and bad condition of roads and dysfunctional street lights,” Khan said.
He said that the people “are angry with the local legislator for not addressing their grievances”.
Both the leaders assured the residents to take their grievances to the concerned departments to redress them. (KNS)
