Srinagar, May 26: Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) Chairman and former minister Ghulam Hassan Mir said that government should reach out to the agitating students rather than using harsh methods to deal with the present student unrest.
As per DPN statement, the party held a meeting on Friday at party headquarters under the chairmanship of Mir.
“Government should ensure the institutions of learning should not become agitation centres,” the statement issued to KNS said.
The meeting also urged the government to ensure essential commodities and un-interrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadan. (KNS)
