Srinagar, May 06: Insaf Party chairman, G A Gulzar on Saturday said that the highly volatile political situation is a reaction of Indian aggression and suppression in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, he said that the political and democratic institutions have become redundant and the wedge between the people and the political leadership is widening day by day.
“Alarming situation engineered by the state terrorism has forced the young generation to acts of violence and the leadership is also forced by the circumstances to follow rather than to lead the victims of state terrorism”, he added.
Expressing his deep concern on this widespread political turbulence in Jammu and Kashmir, the Insaf Party chairman, G A Gulzar condemned the use of heavy regular army contingents and Air Force against the common people in Shopian District of south Kashmir.
Addressing the party workers of District Committee Budgam, Gulzar appealed the UNO and the world community to help resolve the long pending Kashmir issue and impress upon India to shun the Human Rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting also condemned the use of brute force against the student community.
The meeting also paid rich tributes to the incarcerated Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Massarat Aalam Bhat, M.Yousaf Mir, G M Khan Sopori, Aasia Andrabi, Fahmeedah Sofi, M Rustum Bhat, M Ramzan Bhat, Ameer Hamza and all others in different jails outside the state.
