Hizb commander warns separatist leaders

‘Why do you come to address people in mosques if Kashmir is a political issue?’

Srinagar, May 12: Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) commander Zakir Moosa has criticized the joint separatists leadership and also threatened to ‘cut their heads and hang them in Lal Chowk’ if they term Kashmir issue as political.

In an audio clip viral on social media, a man taken as Hizb commander, Zakir while terming the separatist leaders as ‘political hypocrites’, said, “We just want to ask these political hypocrites if Kashmir is a political issue than why are you raising slogans like ‘Azadi Ka Matlab Kya. La Ilaha Illallah (What is the meaning of freedom- There is no god but Allah)’, ‘Pakistan Say Rishta Kya. La Ilaha Illallah’ (Our relation with Pakistan is the belief that there is no god but Allah). Why do you come and address people in mosques?”
“I am not an ulema, but the scholars here are corrupt… fearful of tagoot that they may be imprisoned, that is why we have to come forward,” he says, quoting a verse from the Qur’an.
Warning the Hurriyat leaders not to interfere “in our matters and remain with their dirty politics”, he said, “Otherwise we will cut their heads and hang them in Lal Chowk.” (KNS)
