Srinagar, May 03: Jammu and Kashmir Insaf Party, District Bandipora Wednesday held its district workers meeting, which was presided over by District President Mohammad Hussain Bhat.
According to the statement issued to KNS, addressing the meeting, Party Chairman, G A Gulzar aware the workers about the critical political situation of the State.
“Indian Policy makers are strengthening its military power in the state and breeding a terror political culture here. Killing, beating and arresting the young generation has become the ordinary affair of the State,” he said.
He said that the pro-freedom leaders and workers are dealt with iron fists and are incarcerated on fabricated charges. “Even the pro India politicians of Jammu and Kashmir have been rendered as mere stooges and effigies by the Indian authorities. There is absolute lawlessness and people are facing worst ever human rights violations at the hands of Indian occupation forces in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Citing an example from the history of Indian Freedom Struggle when the Britishers after Jalianwala Bagh incident provided a full political space to the Indian political leadership by the instrument of transfer of power, which culminated in Indian Independence in 1947, Gulzar cautioned the Indian Policy makers about the disastrous consequences of the prevailing policy of suppression and repression against the young generation especially the student fraternity in the State.
Gulzar appreciated the role of the people by choosing the peaceful, political and democratic model of Election Boycott against the Indian military measures and termed this formula as an important ice breaker in the current Global politics. (KNS)
