Srinagar, May 26: Describing National Conference as the fort of people’s aspirations, former Minister and party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar said that joining of educated and professional youth in the part is an indication that only National Conference can take out Kashmiri youth form the quagmire.
Earlier Information Technology expert Samir Iqbal along with his supporters joined National Conference and in this regard a function had organized at party headquarters Nawai Subah Srinagar. On this occasion, top party leaders including former Speaker Muhammad Akbar Lone, Provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, spokesperson Aga Roohullah, MLA Homeshalibugh Abdul Majid Larmi, MLA Pahalgam Altaf Ahmed, Youth President Salman Sagar, Imran Nabi Dar, Mushtaq Ahmed Guru, Ehsan Pardesi, Younis Gul, former MLA Bandipora Ghulam Rasool Nazki and others.
These leaders congratulated the new entrant and welcomed him into the party. On this occasion, Muhammad Akbar Lone hoped that Samir Iqbal of Bandipora will live up to the expectations of the party and will utilize all his resources for the benefit of party and people in general.
He said Samir Iqbal will play a key role in party affairs in Bandipora.
Samir Iqbal Bhat thanked all the leaders and assured them he will live up to the expectations of the party. He said that National Conference is the only party capable of solving the Kashmir issue. He said that he will leave no stone unturned in lifting the spirits of party activists in Bandipora.
