Pertinently the Chief Minister on May 13 met over 2000 entrepreneurs and candidates trained by JKEDI from across the State at her residential office to get their feedback.

Out of 598 cases placed before the Committee under Seed Capital Fund Scheme, 563 cases related to sectors like manufacturing, services and agri-allied were approved.  Decision in respect of 35 cases was deferred as more clarifications were sought by the Steering Committee. These cases will be considered in the next Steering Committee meeting scheduled on June 01, 2017 after the relevant issues are clarified.

Out of 57 cases placed before the same Committee under Youth Startup Loan Scheme, 56 cases were approved. Decision in respect of one case was deferred for want of certain clarification.
