Labourers hired for anti-Pakistan protests: DeM
‘India’s hand in destabilizing Pakistan exposed’

Srinagar, May 03: Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Wednesday said that the reports about hiring labourers to manage anti-Pakistan protests in Kashmir expose sinister role of India in destabilizing Pakistan.
“Reports about hiring labourers to stage an anti-Pakistan protest on Tuesday amply expose that India and its handful of stooges in Kashmir can stoop to any level to destabilize Pakistan,” general secretary of DeM, Nahida Nasreen, said in a statement to KNS.
Nasreen said that while India has been repeatedly alleging that common masses in Kashmir, who are braving pellets, bullets and shells, are “being paid” to protest against the illegal Indian occupation, Tuesday’s expose has cleared that it is India spending money to manage fake protests against Pakistan and the pious resistance movement .
Nasreen said that it was disclosed that India is sponsoring anti-Pakistan protests to divert attention of world from the lingering Kashmir dispute and the oppression of India on innocent Kashmiris.
Pakistan has always advocated plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir including in the Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. “Pakistan has never opposed right to self-determination to whole Jammu and Kashmir even though Azad Kashmir enjoys being part of Pakistan.”
She said India and its stooges have been spending hefty amounts of money for anti-resistance activities in Jammu Kashmir.
Meanwhile, reacting to the statement of Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Qamar Javed Bajwa, that Pakistan will always stand with the people of Kashmir and will support their genuine demand of Right to Self-determination, Nasreen said that the statement from the general was highly encouraging.
However, she said that the COAS should move beyond statements and take concrete steps so that the people are given the right to determine their future.
Nasreen said that the Indian forces have intensified the brutalities on the people of Kashmir. “The brutalizing of womenfolk in Sopore town is yet another example of Indian atrocities in Kashmir. The Indian occupational army barges into the homes and offices of Kashmiris and brutalizes them. People are being arrested, maimed and beaten to pulp at gun points.”
She said that the Sopore incident has yet again proved that the Indian army is a ‘terrorist and rogue force’ stationed here to brutalise innocent Kashmiris.
Nasreen said that the people of Kashmir won’t stop demanding their right to self-determination, “no matter how much Indian forces perpetrate brutalities of us”.
“This is a peoples’ movement and we won’t cow down before the oppressors and will continue demanding our legitimate rights,” she said. She also appealed people to remain steadfast.
Nasreen said that the people of Kashmir should make a resolve that they will not allow the sham elections to take place in Jammu Kashmir. She concluded that the cancellation of elections by occupying machinery in southern parts of Kashmir is a defeat to the occupier. (KNS)
