Physical test for recruitment of constables concludes in Kargil

Srinagar, May 21: The Physical Endurance Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST) for the posts of constables in Jammu and Kashmir Police concluded in Kargil, today. Chairman of the Police Recruitment Board Shri Surinder Kumar Gupta along with SP Kargil Shir T. Gyalpo and other board members were present during the recruitment process.

The recruitment rally was held at Khree Sultan Cho Cricket ground Kargil. Out of 1564 male/female candidates who were called for the test, 1090 candidates appeared. Among the appeared candidates, 216 candidates have been declared qualified which include 139 female candidates.

The recruitment rallies for the post of constables have been held in different districts of Kashmir valley and will continue in Leh on 24th of May 2017.

The candidates who have qualified physical test will be called for written test for final selection regarding which dates will be issued separately.
