Srinagar, May 20: Hurriyat Conference said that police on Saturday foiled scheduled meeting of pro-freedom leaders at Hyderpora. The statement issued said that state authorities are not even allowing resistance leaders to have a formal meet and while terming it vandalism and bullying, spokesman said that a meeting was called to consider the situations erupted after a video clip was telecasted by an Indian TV channels.

All constituent members were formally summoned, however police in large contingents blocked all roads leading to office and sealed office. No one including executive members and even office bearers were allowed to move forward and turned back.

Spokesman while strongly condemning authorities, said that their approach against pro-freedom would further elevate the level of uncertainty in state. Uncalled restrictions against leadership is creating chaos, said spokesman and it has deflated the claims of so-called democracy of India and its henchmen in state. India despite all its claims is following fascist dogma and trampling all ethics, said spokesman. CNS
