‘We request all stakeholders to start dialogue on Kashmir issue’
Srinagar, May 07 : Prof. Ghulam Mohammad Bhat Al-Madni was today again elected as Jamiat Chief. It was announced by the Election Board headed by Mufti Mohammad Yaqoob Baba at Salfia Muslim Institute, Parraypora Srinagar. All the 414 members of three division took part in this electioneering process.
In his speech, Prof. Bhat spoke about the agenda of Jamiat, and he told Jamiat will work for the welfare related projects and educational activities as was done previously in his tenure. He also told that Jamiat will use all their resources for the propagation of Quran and Sunnah.
He also talked about the deteriorating conditions of Kashmir, in his speech, he said that, violation of human rights, mass arrests of men and women, torture of students is only due to Kashmir dispute, until and unless this issue is addressed, it is difficult to see Kashmir as peaceful state.
He said, that we request all the stake holders to start a dialogue on Kashmir issue and address this issue as soon as possible. He also said that Jamiat feels that, not only sub-continent but in all over world, an anti-Islamic approach by different quarters/parties has been started to malign the image of peace loving religion Islam. He mentioned in his speech, that some elements have started provocative speeches on different issues, like, Azaan, Talaq and by this way they are trying their best to start anti-Islamic propaganda in a preplanned manner .
Prof. Bhat Al-Madni, also conveyed to the people associated with the Salfi Manhaj to work on Islamic brotherhood and unity with all those organizations who are working for the propagation of the Islam and refrain from propagation of such things which are at first against the teachings of Islam then to the brotherhood.
Dr. Abdul Lateef Al-Kindi also thanked all the members and stressed upon the unity and appealed them that every member should work for the propagation of Salafi Methodology/Manhaj in a proper way and work for Dawah affairs should be done in and enthusiastic way.He also stressed upon the culmination of the drug menace in Kashmiri society as it has created problem to our youth and has destroy society.
It is pertinent to mention here that Election Board was comprising of Mufti Mohammad Yaqoob Baba Al-Madni as its Chairman, Abdul Rehman Bhat and Zubair Tahiri as Its members. Election process was done as per the constitution of Jamiat and at last meet was concluded with the prayers. (KNS)
