Protests, clashes in south Kashmir

Srinagar, May 27: Soon after the news about the killing of two Hizb militants Sabzar Ahmad and Faizan Ahmad spread, most parts of the south Kashmir observed shutdown and started protests.

Reports said that clashes between protesters and forces erupted in Anantnag, Khanabal, Pulwama, Pampore, Tral and Kakapora areas.
Shopkeepers also pulled down their shutters in Bijbehara town.
Sources said that schools were immediately closed in most parts of the south Kashmir where situation is very tense. PTK
