Clerical staff to protest on June 4 and 5
Srinagar, May 25: The Clerical Staff Association of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh has called for a two days demonstration on June 4 and 5 against the callous attitude of the government towards them.
Addressing a press conference here in Srinagar, the Association said that government has always ignored the role of clerical staff and has not showed interest in fulfilling the demands or mitigating the sufferings of the clerics, who are the back bone of the administration.
“Removal of pay anomaly is our genuine issue that has not been addressed by the government yet. Only hollow promises are being made but on ground nothing changes,” the Association said.
The Clerical Association alleged that Finance Minister failed to live up to their expectations and never took their issue seriously. “If our demand about removal of pay anomaly is not fulfilled we will be forced to chalk out a new strategy on June 5 next month. (CNS)
