Srinagar, May 8: Traffic will ply from Srinagar to Jammu today after authorities allowed up convoy for two days to allow free movement of vehicles, including those carrying Darbar Move officials, from winter capital Jammu to Srinagar.
The Darbar, seat of the government, including the office of Chief Minister, her cabinet colleagues and top bureaucrats, will reopen in summer capital, Srinagar, today after functioning from winter capital, Jammu, for six months.
The authorities had announced that only up convoy will be allowed on May 6 and 7 to allow free movement of employees from Jammu to Srinagar on the highway, the only road linking Kashmir valley with the rest of the country.
After two-day up convoy, traffic was today allowed from Srinagar to Jammu, a traffic police official told UNI.
