War’s death anniversary to be held tomorrow

‘He is remembered for his pro-people contributions’

Srinagar, May 01: The death anniversary of late Ghulam Rasool War of Bakhiaker, Handwara, will be observed tomorrow at his residence.
War was a political and social leader in Kupwara district and had contested assembly elections on Congress ticket. Among his major contributions is the water supply line to Rajwar and Bakhiaker-Shaloora road in the regime of late ex-chief minister G.M Sadiq.

 On his death anniversary various social organisations will pay tribute to War tomorrow and remember his contributions. Among others Youth for Peace and Justice, Gandhi Global Family, Women Empowerment Trust Organisations will pay tribute to him and pray for his soul.

Abida War, the daughter of late War, said that people remember the great soul for his contributions in the Kupwara district for his developmental and pro-people activities. (KNS)
