Distt Adm appeals for greater public participation
Rajouri, Jun 27: Continuing its mass outreach programme for service delivery under J&K Public Service Guarantee Act and for redressing public grievances on issues related to Health, District Administration Rajouri has notified 25 Medical Camps across the district, commencing from July 06. The camps will also promote health and hygiene in rural areas.
The camps to be held under the guidance and supervision of District Development Commissioner, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary will be organised and attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Rev), Sub-Divisional Magistrates beside senior officers of Health & Family Welfare department. Block Medical Officers will organise all health related check-ups and certification.
Besides redressing public grievances on issues related to Health, complaints about functioning of field health institutions and encroachment of hospital land, services under J&K Public Service Guarantee Act including Medical Fitness Certificates, Old Age, Widow Certificate will be also provided in these camps. Joint teams of Health and Social Welfare Departments will also verify pension cases and process new application forms for pension. Department of Panchayats will coordinate for coverage of area under Swachh Bharat Mission and promoting cleanliness and hygiene at these camps.
On 04 July a camp will be organized at Khanyalkote, on 06 July a camp each at Panchayat Ghar Devak and Panjah, on 7 July a camp each at Niabat Chingus and Narla, on 08 July at HSS Bhawani, on 12 July at Panchayat Ghar Sayal, on 15 July at HSS Lamberi, Dodasanbala, Khah, Middle School Khargala and Gura Top Tourism Park Fatehpur, on 19 July at Dak Bunglow Darhal, on 20 July at HS Qila Darhal, High School Boys Siote, Niabat Budhal and Panchayat Ghar Rajdhani, on 22 July at Azamtabad and High School Ghallan, on 27 July at TRC Kotli and High School Peili, on 30 July at HS Potha, on 31 July at Tehsil Office Khawas, Lah and Panchayat Ghar Treru.
People will also be educated in these camps about Centrally Sponsored Schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Paradhan Mantri Surakshit Matriva Abhiyan (PMSMA), JSSK, JSY Payments in addition to checkups, antenatal checkups, display of IEC materials, booklets, drugs etc.
BMOs have been directed to utilize the services of Medical Officer of ISM Department and also tie up with Incharge Medical Board Rajouri to provide Medical Certificates and other relevant health services at people’s doorsteps.
BMOs, MOs, Community Health Officers, Record Keepers (Pharmacist), Block ASHA Coordinators, RBSK Teams, ANMs, ASHAs will attend the camps in respective areas. (KNS)
