Srinagar, Jun 07: The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the killing of a youth Adil Farooq Magray in Shopian by forces and said the forces have waged a war against the innocent people.
In a statement issued to press, DFP secretary general Moulana Abdullah Tari expressed concern over the unabated civilian killings and said the Indian army and other forces have been given free licence by their political and military leadership to kill Kashmiris and are being awarded which ultimately leads to increase in the killing graph.
He reiterated his pledge of taking forward the mission of martyrs and said we’re guardians of their sacrifices.
He once again sought the attention of international community towards the loss of human lives in Kashmir and expressed hope that it will play its due role in this regard.
A delegation of Freedom Party led by Bashir Ahmad Khan visited the residence of martyred student and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.
Moulana Tari strongly condemned the continuous nocturnal raids by forces in south Kashmir areas particularly in Pulwama saying the civilians are unnecessarily harassed and beaten and the residential properties destroyed.
Meanwhile, a party delegation led by Moulana Tari visited SMHS Hospital, Srinagar and enquired about the health condition of a youth Sameer Ahmad who has been hit by shell in his head by brutal forces.
On the occasion, Tari termed it murderous assault on the young boy and said the occupational forces have turned the Valley into a slaughterhouse. (KNS)
