Clothing items distributed in Bandipora, Awantipora and Budgam
Srinagar, June 06: Jammu and Kashmir Police in collaboration with Uday Foundations provides its helping hand in Bandipora, Budgam and Awantipora districts by distributing clothing items to the needy people of these districts under a special campaign, today. The campaign was launched on the directions of Director General of Police Shri S.P. Vaid and Inspector General of Police Kashmir Shri Munir Ahmad Khan.
Bandipora police organized a function at District Police Lines Bandipora where about 200 people including children, women and adults were called from different areas of the district through Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Trust. Various items including clothes, shoes and bags were distributed among them.
In Awantipora, SSP Awantipora Shri Mohammad Zaid along with other officers distributed the clothes and other items in Baitu-ul-Aafiyat Tral, Dar-Ul-Uloom Awantipora and Ashram Samboora.
In Budgam, SDPO Khan Sahib Shri Mohammad Aslam and SHO Khan Sahib distributed clothing items to the needy and poor people in Khan Sahib area of the district.
