Srinagar, Jun 07: Hurriyat Conference (G) on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the killing of a youth Adil Farooq Magray in Shopian by forces and said that state has waged war against innocent and unarmed people.
Forces feel free to kill anybody without any accountability, said Hurriyat and while lashing at state authorities for their open support to forces to carry brutal killings, said that they are not worried about the brutal massacre, however they have bartered their conscience for pays and perks.
Paying for bereaved family and for their forbearance, Hurriyat (G) said that we are saddened and grieved over the killing of student in Shopian and added that forces out of vengeance against civilians is carrying genocide without feeling ashamed of their wrong doings.
Hurriyat conference (G) in its statement expressed concern over the arrogance of Indian authorities and unabated killings carried in nook and corner of state, said that the Indian forces have been given free hand by authorities in Delhi to carry killing and inflict atrocities against civilians. While referring to the statement of union minister Rajyawardhan Singh, Hurriyat said that this illustrates their fascist mindset.
Accusing local authorities and pro- Indian politicians for prevailing mayhem, Hurriyat said that they are least worried about appalling situations and are hand in glow with these killer forces.
Hurriyat (G) said that presence of huge number of forces and agencies has evolved a miserable situation in state and there is no guarantee for life and dignity in presence of black laws and arbitrary measures. Youth are feeling scare, yet they carry their mission with utmost zeal and passion, said Hurriyat.
The unabated killing of innocent youth is highly mournful and unjustified and we are not even being allowed to morn our young martyrs, added Hurriyat.
Hurriyat (G) condemned nocturnal raids conducted by police forces in south Kashmir areas particularly in Pulwama saying the youth are unnecessarily harassed, thrashed and residential properties ransacked by police and forces.
Pledging to carry mission of freedom onwards, Hurriyat Conference (G) said that we hope and expect due role from international community to bring a halt to ongoing bloodshed in state.
Seeking cognizance from international community, Hurriyat said that we hope that they will take due and proper steps and help stop the continuous bloodshed and resolve this long pending issue
Hurriyat Conference (G) in its statement strongly condemned the role played by local henchmen and said that the hooliganism and bullying won’t deter us from pursuing the cherished goal.
Hurriyat Conference (G) condemned continuous detention of Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Peer Saif Ullah, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Raja Meraj u Din Kalwal, Ayaz Akbar, Mohd Ashraf Laya, and Omer Adil Dar and termed their detention illogical and unjustified. Statement said that Meraj u Din Kalwal and Omer Adil are detained in police station Nowgam and however no reason thereof is provided by concerned authorities for the arbitrary detention. (KNS)
