Demands questioning of her in-laws, husband

Srinagar, Jun 05: The family of Mudasir Javed, a Junior Engineer, who allegedly committed suicide last month, Monday staged protests against the authorities for failing to trace out the facts behind Mudasir’s alleged suicide.
The family and relatives of Mudasir holding the banners and placards displaying, the image of Mudasir and her son and slogans assembled at Srinagar’s press Enclave and chanted slogans like ‘we want justice.’
The protesting family demanded police to question Mudasir’s in-laws and husband as her in-laws were allegedly harassing her.
“The fish statements made by Mudasir’s in-laws and her husband have shocked us. We want the police to question them so that the facts would come to fore,” they added.
