Station house officer ( SHO) and the concern officers of the police station Karanagar today’s organized an iftar party for the local resident of Karanagar area
SRINAGAR, 02 June 2017: Continuing its efforts to further the police public ties, police hosted Iftaar in Karanagar area of Srinagar district.
“In Karanagar, over 250 persons including civil society member religious personalities broke their fast with the police personnels of the area,” a police officer told.
“Iftaar and Magrab prayers were followed by fruits. At the end of the function, special prayers were made for the peace and prosperity of the state. The student community of the area also participated in the function,”
Station House Officer Karanagar Shri Mudasir Ahmad welcomed the guests along with other Officials.
Such events can make police and public much familiar to each other and even it is for the first time that this kind of initiative has been taken by police in this Karanagar area” said a local.
He further added that the Ramadan is a month for prayers, blessings, forgiveness and humanity and one can get best examples by these kinds of events to bring police and public closer.
While talking to the reporter an official from Karanagar police station said that the police department has always been serving the people of the state from decades and the motive of these initiatives are just to create robust relation among police and people.
